Marcus And The New World

Marcus a black, 12 year-old honor student, craves acceptance and equal treatment for not just himself, but for everyone. The hatred of Allen and his white gang develops into a vicious attack at Centerville Middle School. The savage beating puts both Marcus and Reggie, his best friend, in a coma.
The Stranger, one of several Universe Protectors, visits Marcus in the dead of night, communicates telepathically, instructing Marcus on his assignment for both Marcus and Reggie. They travel to a parallel world where they face a new set of challenges yet observe and experience healthy relationships. When they return to their world, Marcus and Reggie perform these acts of kindness, tolerance, and sympathy towards others. The Stranger’s visit installs a simple goal for Marcus.
He wants more than just acceptance and equality—he has a new vision to make his world a better place.
Discover the trials, struggles, and life-threatening battles Marcus encounters on his journey.
